I don't even know where to begin.
Val: Vegas Trip: When you and Dave were basically having a contest with each other to see who could convince their own spouse to "do the deed" first.
Chris: Cali Trip: When we stayed up all night after everyone was asleep, laughing at (you know who's name to insert here) because she was "tooting" the entire night in her sleep.
Just ONE memory... I'll have to think of a good one! I'll get back to you.
I as well have to think of the perfect memory. maybe it will be from this coming weekend.
My "special" hair cuts hehehe. YEAH BABY!!
oh yeah, and skinny dipping and you showing me how to fart on command!!! I know that is two memories, but what are you going to do? beat me up?! SUCKA!!
After much debate, I have finally narrowed "my favorite memory of Val" down to one. Not an easy task for a mom!
I remember you in kindergarden. You were cute (still are), just a bit shy but fairly sure of yourself. Mostly you were in love with how good you looked! You weren't always happy with what I picked out for you to wear to school as you had your own ideas of what was cute. I think we must have settled on what you would wear to school on picture day. That little gray dress was one of "our" favorites. It was usually a church dress so you were especially excited about wearing it to school. Weeks later, when the pictures came in, your rushed home from school with the envelope clutched tight in your hands....so excited to share them with me. As I caught my first glimps of the photo, my first thought was, "Oh crap, she's got her fake smile on. Now we'll have to do re-takes". But then I looked down at you and saw the admiring look on your face as you stared at your image once again, and stated, "Amin't I just so beautiful"? How could I disagree with that? I just gave you a big hug and agreeded you were the most beautiful little girl in the world.
How grateful I am that I didn't have that picture redone. That picture of you is one of my favorites now.....fake smile and all! I love you!
ok one of my memories that most reminds me of who you are was just a couple years ago. we were on our way to utah for Cheri's wedding. we were talking about cameras and i had told you which one i was wanting, but didn't want to spend the money on it yet, yep always been cheap. 2/3 months later i was packing to go to PEI on my dream vacation, and you called and said you were comming over with a surprise. you had just bought the camera i had wanted and you had had it only i think a day and were comming to lend it to me so i could capture my dreams forever!
thats the Valerie i know, a girl who always remembers and thinks of others. Thanks Boo not just for my PEI memories, but the wonderful memories i have of you my dear sister.
Oh poor Jake! I don't know if you remember fake asking him to prom...I definitely remember asking him why he didn't scratch his ear using the other hand haha. I also remember the first time I met you during swim practice you had your hair in lots of litte braids and I was thinking "dang she is really tan!"
